We had a great time last Saturday for the wool working class at the Mead Cultural Education Center. Thanks to the ladies from Sassy Cat Quilting Company for coming in and showing the class attendees some beautiful quilting work and teaching them some simple projects to get them started. Don’t forget about our Feed Your Mind program at noon Friday, March 1. In honor of Women’s History Month, our very own Ashley Lynch will be speaking on the women’s suffrage movement. Bring your lunch if you’d like and join us at the Mead Cultural Education Center. We also have a program for the kids, Mead Story Time, at 1:30pm on Sunday, March 10. For more on upcoming events you can check out our calendar of events at www.meadbuilding.org. You can stop out at the Mead Cultural Education Center at 82 Mickelson Drive, email us at info@meadbuilding.org. Our winter hours are Monday-Friday 10am-4pm (closed Wednesdays) and Saturday & Sunday 1pm-5pm. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
