In keeping with historic preservation, workers at the Mead Cultural Education Center recently replaced a corner piece on the second floor veranda. They did such an excellent job that you would never know it replaced a badly damaged piece. The Yankton County Historical Society is fortunate to have talented workers on staff. We are so excited to have objects returning to this beautiful building. This week we returned a bust of Hiawatha to our foyer.
