In the coming days we will say goodbye to Joe James, our Project Director at the Mead Cultural Education Center. Joe will be leaving us for another path that has been opened for him. Joe has done an amazing job on the Mead Building and we will always be grateful for his commitment to this project. A lot of what has happened over the past couple of years is because of Joe and desire to see the project completed. Joe will always be a member of our family. We will miss him greatly and wish him all the best on his future adventure.

If you know of anyone that would be a good fit as Project Director, please have them contact Crystal Nelson at director@dakotaterritorialmuseum.org. For a job description you can check out our Facebook page or log onto www.meadbuilding.org and click on “Job Opportunity.”

We are currently in our “Mead Matters” Campaign to raise funds needed for this major project. Every contribution helps and no donation is too small. To make a contribution, please contact the Dakota Territorial Museum at 610 Summit Street (in Westside Park), on Facebook/Dakota Territorial Museum, visit us online at www.dakotaterritorialmuseum.org or www.meadbuilding.org, or call us at 605-665-3898.
