In two short weeks the Dakota Territorial Museum will close to the public so we can prepare exhibits and artifacts for their move to the new Mead Cultural Education Center! We will open at the Mead next June, and our staff at the building is working hard to make sure everything is in place. We wish to extend a special thanks to Mount Marty students and staff that spent a few hours with us this week painting the walls in the Mead parlors and at the Museum helping us to get some books and boxes ready to move. We can’t wait to share with everyone in a few short months, and hope you will Meet us at the Mead next summer! This weekend would be a great time to stop in and see the current museum.
