The Museum has been busy getting ready for the adventure of the summer. Stan Hoffart will be working towards new exhibits in the Mead building by walking from Sioux City to Yankton. The journey will take four days and will be filled with historical discoveries and information. To follow Stan’s journey, we will have virtual updates throughout the day. Most of these updates will only be available to supporters. For only $50 you will receive all updates and be able to “tag along” from home! The funds raised from this event will be used to update and refurbish the Rivers of Lewis and Clark exhibit, opening in the Mead Cultural Education Center in 2018. If you have questions about the project or events please contact us at the Dakota Territorial Museum at 610 Summit Street (in Westside Park), on Facebook, visit our website at www.dakotaterritorialmuseum.org or www.meadbuilding.org, or call us at 605-665-3898. We are open 10am-5pm Monday through Friday and from noon-4pm on weekends.
