Outdoor Work and International Museum Visitors

Outdoor work continues at the Mead Building. Certain projects, such as tuck pointing, can only be done in warm weather months. We have also been busy hosting many visitors at the Museum, particularly with the archery tournament last week. We saw a large group from Hong Kong and also visitors from Chile, Australia, New Zealand, and Denmark. The Museum is a great stop if you are having an event or family reunion this summer! We are also happy to arrange group tours at the Mead Building. All you have to do is call at least two weeks ahead of your event and we will do our best to arrange a tour. If you have questions about the project or events please contact us at the Dakota Territorial Museum at 610 Summit Street (in Westside Park), on Facebook, visit our website at www.meadbuilding.org, or call us at 605-665-3898. The museum is open 10 am-5 pm Monday-Friday and noon-4pm Saturday and Sunday.
