Plaster Class Underway

  • Apr 17, 2015

This past Saturday the first session of the Plaster Restoration class was held. The four participants learned about the history of the Mead Building and began discussing the methods of plastering used in the building. There is currently a dedicated team of staff and volunteers working to restore the plaster as it would have been when the building first opened. Opportunities to learn how to do this restoration work are offered periodically. If you missed out this time and want to be notified of future classes, please contact us. If you have questions about the project or events please contact us at the Dakota Territorial Museum at 610 Summit Street (in Westside Park), on Facebook, visit our website at www.meadbuilding.org, or call us at 605-665-3898. The museum is open Noon-4pm seven days a week.
