Third Floor

The workers have been busy on third floor this week. The future home of the Yankton College Alumni & Education Services, and the Yankton County Historical Society conference rooms, have been getting insulation, and plaster repair work (pictured above). Things are really coming together up there. Don’t forget about our Feed Your Mind program Friday, June 7 at noon. Dr. Rich Lofthus will be here to talk about his book “From Wentworth to the Western Front: The World War One Odyssey of Private John Warns.” Also, we are partnering with the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail and the NASA GO program – for more information you can check out our Facebook page or on our website. This exciting program is a great way to get outdoors and help NASA collect data. Check out our calendar of events at www.meadbuilding.org. You can stop out at the Mead Cultural Education Center at 82 Mickelson Drive, email us at info@meadbuilding.org. Our summer hours are in full swing: Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm (closed Wednesdays) and Sunday 1pm-5pm. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
