Clearing The Way

Earlier this week we did another major move of items from the old location to the Mead Cultural Education Center. Things are looking so different at the old location – pictured above is the back storage room that once housed hundreds of collection pieces. It looks so much smaller now that all the shelves and boxes have been moved. Just another big step for us in our move from the old building. Make sure to save Friday, June 7 on your calendar and come to our Noon Feed Your Mind Program. Dr. Rich Lofthus will be here to talk about his book “From Wentworth to the Western Front: The World War One Odyssey of Private John Warns.” If you have questions about the Mead Matters 2019 campaign, please contact Camille Swift at info@meadbuilding.org, or stop out and see us. All contributions are appreciated. Check out our calendar of events at www.meadbuilding.org. You can stop out at the Mead Cultural Education Center at 82 Mickelson Drive, email us at info@meadbuilding.org. Our summer hours are in full swing: Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm (closed Wednesdays) and Sunday 1pm-5pm. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
