Children's Museum getting closer

More and more is being done every day out at the Mead Cultural Education Center. The month of March really flew by us. Last week, the flooring for the children’s museum was installed. This thick rubber flooring is just one of the safety measures we are taking to ensure everyone’s safety as they play in the new children’s museum. In a few short weeks we will begin moving collection pieces over to Mead. We can’t wait to show you more of Mead Building. Have you thought of helping out in some way on the Mead Building Project? Crystal Nelson and the crew are looking for help painting the rooms and doing other projects. Let us know if you’d like to help out. During the month of April, the Mead Matters Campaign will be doing Meals for Mead at four local restaurants. Check out our Facebook page (Dakota Territorial Museum) for more information – the first day is 10th at Culver’s. To make a contribution or for more information on Meals for Mead, please contact the Dakota Territorial Museum at 610 Summit Street (in Westside Park), on Facebook/Dakota Territorial Museum, visit us online at www.dakotaterritorialmuseum.org or www.meadbuilding.org, or call us at 605-665-3898.
