Working On Exterior

Things are progressing nicely on the verandas at the Mead Cultural Education Center. If you drive by during the week you will see the guys working hard out front. And though we are busy doing work on the exterior please know we are still open on the inside – so stop out and visit. If you don’t have plans for Friday, July 5, come out for Feed Your Mind at noon. We welcome the Missouri National Recreation River folks and they will be presenting their film, “River of Change.” Also don’t forget to join us Sunday, July 21, as we host our first-ever Tea At Mead. This fun afternoon tea will feature a Victorian Style Show. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. For more information contact Heidi at programs@meadbuilding.org. Our design team is working on an exhibit about the history of the Yankton State Hospital. For more information you can check out our website or email Crystal at director@meadbuilding.org. It’s not too late to contribute to the Mead Matters – Parking Lot Campaign. Contact Camille at info@meadbuilding.org or 605-665-3898 if you would like to talk about a contribution. Check out our calendar of events at www.meadbuilding.org, or you can stop out at the Mead Cultural Education Center at 82 Mickelson Drive. Our summer hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm (closed Wednesdays) and Sunday 1pm-5pm. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
