The Mead Museum Hall of Trees ended its 8th season on 12/31/25 at 5pm.

​

4,143 people came to see the trees!

- a record for the history books!

             3rd Place Keep Yankton Beautiful

Starting the day after Thanksgiving and through the month of December, visitors came to see unique, beautiful Christmas trees on all 3 floors of our historic 1909 building.

This was the 8th year and featured 85 trees!

  • Visitors voted for their favorite tree

  • enjoyed free hot cocoa and coffee

  • and kids and adults alike had fun with a scavenger hunt on all 3 floors

The 2025 foyer theme was 1950s Red Carpet Christmas by LilyCrest  - Framing, Décor & Gifts Gallery, Yankton.

Santa Sundays were so much fun! Visits with Santa! Crafts for kids! December 7th, 14th and 21st

From 2-4pm.

​

Friday Night Lights were special!  People loved seeing the trees under the cover of night, enjoyed live Christmas piano music and other special details until 8 PM.
