New Sidewalk & Steps

If you don’t follow us on Facebook, you missed out on the news that our east side stairs are done. They look amazing and we can’t say enough about the work the guys from Doyle Stevens Construction have done. They are awesome to work with. This week Doyle Stevens Construction was back and added the sidewalk that leads to the beautiful new stairs. Having a safe, easy access point to the Mead Cultural Education Center is important to us – plus it adds to feel of the building. Railing for the new stairs will soon be installed. Don’t forget to come out at noon today (Friday) for the Feed Your Mind program with Dr. Rich Lofthus. This presentation is made possible by the South Dakota Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Check out our calendar of events at www.meadbuilding.org. You can stop out at the Mead Cultural Education Center at 82 Mickelson Drive, email us at info@meadbuilding.org. Our summer hours are in full swing: Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm (closed Wednesdays) and Sunday 1pm-5pm. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
