Spend the night inside the historic 1909 Mead Building,
a former ward of the Yankton State Hospital.
Tickets are 40.00 each
15 winners will be drawn
Each winner receives two tickets.
One for them and one for a friend!

Event Date: October 30 from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
Ticket winners will get a midnight tour of the building where they will be taken to places off limits to the general public. A light meal, Halloween movie and continental breakfast will also be provided.
The Mead is excited to bring back Haunted History Tours for 2020. This year the event will look a little different.
We are offering two nights: Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm.
Instead of our bus tour we will be providing a ticket and map that will guide you from location to location were a narrator will tell you the history of the building and answer any questions. You also have the chance to get your ticket punched at each stop. A fully punched ticket can be handed in at the last stop and will enter you into a give-way! The prize consists of a one year membership to the Mead and a few other hand selected items
Tickets are available starting October 1st by calling 665-3898 or stopping at the Mead! Member tickers are $10.00 and non-members are $20.00.
Mead Hall of Trees Information:
Spark your holiday spirit at Mead Hall of Trees! Open Nov. 28th - Jan. 31st.
We would like to make the Mead Building a magical place for families to visit over the holiday season. To do this we need tree decorators and tree sponsors!
This is a great opportunity for families, businesses, non-profits, schools and others to work together. You don’t have to be a professional designer.
Decorators can be as creative or simple as you’d like. Promotional items or samples from your business or organization can be included. Those interested in decorating a tree and/or sponsoring a tree inside the Mead for all visitors to enjoy this holiday season, can contact Sara by calling 665-3898 or email events@meadbuilding.org.
The cost is $50.00 per tree display. Registration is due by Monday, November 9th. Tree sponsor and decorator names will be displayed.
