Is the museum kid-friendly?
Absolutely, the museum features dedicated children’s areas and hands-on learning exhibits specifically designed for younger audiences. The Children's Transportation Museum allows children to use their imaginations to dress up in play clothing, jump aboard a fur trader’s boat, covered wagon or Model T truck. The Discovery Nook in Journeying Forward is a great place to learn about and touch various animal pelts.
Are there group admission or other discounts?
We offer a variety of rates, including discounts for groups of 10 or more and free admission for active military personnel through the Blue Star Museum program and runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day each summer.
